Had to happen sooner or later

I’ve been letting this news sink in for a while before I went public with it, but everyone’s going to know sooner or later, so I may as well just blurt it. Last weekend, when Geoffrey & I went up to Washington for a “vacation with his parents”? Yeah, there was something else going on. While we were up there, we got married.

We figured, after over 5 years of living together, it wasn’t that big a deal so we didn’t want to make a major event of it. Just a quiet little justice-of-the-peace thing with his parents as witnesses, because I actually think the whole marriage thing was more important to them than to either of us.

And no, I’m not changing my name.

    LOL you big stinker :)

Congratulations!!! You are so lucky to be able to make it a small quiet thing — Between Doug’s family and mine, I think we’d get lynched if we eloped…

So, did he say “awesome” in his vows? *grin*

  2. Mari says:

I blame it on the 2-day migraine i am suffering through :)

Damn, you’re so gulliable Mari. I can’t stop laughing here, after all, I really needed a laugh this morning, after the crappy night I had last night.

Yeah, and she was gonna say I was pregnant and she was a gramma… but didn’t. It wouldn’t have been funny. Would it?

  8. Kylanath says:

Not funny at all Annie, you’re way too young to be getting preggers anyway and I would have had to come down there and knock some sense into ya and yer mama for being that mean.
