Here are the people who regularly show up in NOTD posts…if you’re not on the list and you should be, please don’t feel left out! Just email me & threaten to withhold my coffee.
Household
Geoffrey — My beloved; we met a couple of years before we started dating in the summer of 1999. We moved in together Yule 1999, were handfasted Autumn Equinox 2000, and were registered as domestic partners Beltane 2002. One of my Trio of Trusted Advisors, I’m keeping him forever!
Anxiety — My younger demonspawn, a sophomore in high school, who aspires to become a model and possibly an ophthalmologist.
Critters
Zadya — My girl kitty, aka Kitty Loaf. Rescued by CAT from severe injuries from an (unknown) animal attack, and adopted by my family March 2002. Her name means “little huntress” in Russian.
Hasani — My boy kitty, aka Lap Fungus. Rescued by CAT from an animal collector and adopted by my family May 2004. His name means “handsome” in Arabic.
Fido — My boa constrictor. We found out recently that he’s a boy. That name is not my fault.
Michiko — Our new kitten, adopted June 2006 from a neighbor’s litter. Her name means “child of beauty” in Japanese.
Bun-Bun — A darling black bunny that we adopted from Robert. He’s sweet but fearless, and therefore is only allowed out of his cage (at least once a day) with supervision so the cats don’t get too interested!
Peyo — My (formerly Angst’s) bearded dragon lizard, who was born in Dec. 2006. He’s darling!
Caramel — The Extremely Expensive gerbil, born Spring 2007. His vet bills have made him approximately worth his weight in gold. No kidding.
Nutmeg — Just your average nasty little hamster, born on New Year’s Day 2008. The sole survivor of the Niblet Triplets, and possibly the world’s stupidest rodent.
Sebastian — Anxiety’s Sweet Sixteen present, a California Coastal striped kingsnake. She was hatched sometime in summer of 2008.
Extended Family
Angst — My elder daughter, who lives with her fiance Dustin and her Auntie Lyse. She models here & there, and also pursues a career in sales.
Lyse — My best friend (we’d be married if we weren’t so damned hetero), the godmother of my daughters, and one of my Trusted Advisors. Also dubbed the Imperial Princess of Snark.
Dustin — My future son-in-law. Unless Angst is foolish enough to blow that, and then I’ll just adopt him. I always wanted a son named the Dustinator!
Karel — My Number One Internet Fanboy, my secondary boyfriend, and another of my Trusted Advisors. One of the wisest men I know.
Tamara — Geoffrey’s other girlfriend, who is unfortunately stuck in Australia for the time being. We’re hoping to abscond with her to the States at some point. 
Robert — The World’s Best Ex, he’s also my next-door neighbor and the father of my godchildren.
Claire — The World’s Cutest Wife (married to Robert), and a really good friend of mine. Also mother to the darling Jonathan, and incredibly patient stepmother to Rissa.
The Redheaded Stepchild — Anxiety’s best friend of several years. She calls me Mom. I luvs her too.
Mari — The original Imperial Princess (of Cute!), a good friend, multi-talented and a joy to be around. You gotta love someone whose blog is called Intellectual Orgy!
Kylanath — My secondary boyfriend’s primary girlfriend, another purple-loving Gemini chick, and a really neat friend.
Molly — My friend, coworker, and former roommate, and a graduate of the Le Cordon Bleu program at Western Culinary, she’s the Imperial Princess of Food and has many esoteric talents including firedancing & costume design. Wife to Fred and mother to the Lizard.
Fred — Molly’s husband, and a fire-dancing lunatic. We like him.
